Coconuts grow on coconut trees. These trees are part of the family of the palm trees. A full-grown coconut tree can bear up to 500 coconuts. Coconut water fills about ¾ of coconuts internal cavities. The trees blossom all year long. Fruits get ripen after 9 to 12 months. The widest crops of coconut trees stand in Sri-Lanka and Philippines.
